In this hour-long session, we delve deeper into the intricate nature of trauma responses, moving beyond the conventional understanding of fight, flight, and freeze. We explore the counter-intuitive and less recognized ways in which our bodies and minds may react during and in the aftermath of sexual violence. From dissociation to arousal, from numbing to fawning, we shed light on the diverse array of responses victim/survivors may experience.
